Summary.  At the end of the First World War neurologists and psychiatrists felt the need of a close comparison of their positions on the war neurosis. Adler takes part in this debate and, by introducing the concepts of his psychopatologhy dynamics, considering the war neurose “disease of location”, always in line with the position that the patients faced with all the problems of life with immediate ripercussions on the practical problems of the treatment of these patients.
